The School of Mechanical, Materials and Mechatronic Engineering is seeking to appoint a full time lecturer (level A, B or C) in Engineering Management. The School offers broad-based engineering programs including Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Professional Engineering, Master of Engineering Asset Management and Master of Engineering Management. The appointee will teach at Bachelor and Masters levels in areas of Engineering Management such as Project Management, Innovation and Design Management, Operations Planning and Control, Human Factors and Engineering Asset Management. The appointee will be expected to contribute significantly to the development of our research capability and be involved in teaching and research in the new SMART Infrastructure Facility at UOW.

The successful applicant must have: experience in teaching and research in one of the general areas of Engineering Management; a strong track record of publications; and the ability to win external competitive research grants. Candidates must have a PhD, or have successfully completed a substantial fraction of a PhD program of research (or equivalent with respect to research experience and outputs), preferably in an area related to Engineering Management. Industrial experience or prior substantial engagement with industry in an area related to Engineering Management is essential. Experience in simulation/modelling of Engineering Management Systems and/or related systems is desirable.
