The School of Chemistry is an outstanding centre for research and quality teaching. It has, in particular, internationally recognised research strengths in Intelligent Polymers and Nanotechnology,Medicinal Chemistry, Biological Mass Spectrometry, and Atmospheric Chemistry. Its teaching program includes, in addition to the Bachelor of Science (Chemistry), the four year flagship degrees of Bachelor of Nanotechnology and Bachelor of Medicinal Chemistry.
The school is seeking to fill a fixed-term, four-year lecturing position. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Chemistry or a related area, an excellent research track record and research interests that complement the existing research within the School. The person will be able to teach General Chemistry and in particular coordinate and teach aspects of Nanotechnology.
