School of Information Systems & Technology (SISAT)
The School of Information Systems & Technology (SISAT) offers dynamic research and teaching
programs which produce high-quality graduates equipped to handle the challenges of the ICT
industry. SISAT invites applications for a continuing position at Lecturer level. Applicants must have both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience in Information
Systems (IS) or Information Technology (IT) in 2 or more of the following areas: IS/IT analysis &
design, IS development, IS/IT management, and IS/IT project management.
The School conducts research in a number of areas including: business services computing,
e-business, Web services and multi-agent systems, IT governance, digital ecosystems, and
location-based services e.g. GPS/RFID.
Applicants must have submitted a PhD in Information Systems or Information Technology or a
closely related discipline. Applicants must have an appropriate research record, be able to
contribute to the School’s research in one or more of the areas listed and be able to supervise
research students in one of those research areas. Ability to collaborate across the research themes
of the School is highly desirable.
