Adeline Ong - Manager

Adeline has over 15 years’ experience in recruitment, project implementations for HR initiatives, and corporate training. Her experience includes leading significant international recruitment projects in Australia, Asia and the UK, in both internal and consultancy capacities. She has worked in a wide range of companies encompassing the education, IT, management consultancy, railways and pharmaceutical industries.
Marcia has over 11 years experience in recruitment, training, HR, administration and customer service in various industries including employment services, office support, financial services and transport. She has been involved in various recruitment techniques including volume recruitment, assessment centres, projects and consultancy. Marcia brings to the University her commercial understanding and strong customer focus.
Barb has been involved in Human Resources and Administration for over 7 years prior to joining the Recruitment Team. She has worked in a number of industries including Insurance, Marketing, Law and Hospitality, before joining the Education sector. Barb has a solid background in customer service related roles, recruitment and brings strong skills and knowledge of policy to the team.
Barb is currently on leave from the Unit.
Elissa Norris – Recruiter
Sharon Walker – Recruiter
Elissa has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Dean’s Scholar) with Distinction where her major studies included Management, Marketing and Human Resources. She has received recognition for her performance in employment relations and human resources. Elissa has a good background in customer service, which services to strengthen the client-focus of the Recruitment team.
Prior to joining the Recruitment team at UOW, Sharon has worked in the areas of Human Resources, Administration and Finance in a variety of roles. Prior to joining the University, Sharon had worked in the Retail and Finance Sectors. Sharon brings with her, strong skills and knowledge in administration, process, finance and Human Resources.
Jessica Saad – Recruiter
Casey Potter – Recruitment Assistant
Jessica has worked with the University for over 4 years as part of her Management Cadetship in various areas of Human Resources and Marketing at UOW and ITC. She is currently in her fourth year of a Bachelor of Commerce (Dean’s Scholar) double majoring in Human Resource Management and Marketing. Jessica brings her experience in the University environment and broad understanding of it’s operations to the Recruitment team.
Casey is currently completing her Certificate IV in Business Administration with TAFE. She is also placed as an Administration Trainee with the Recruitment Unit. Casey had also worked in various customer service roles in the retail industry. She will commence in her University degree in 2009.
