Wollongong campus

Our main campus in Wollongong is nestled between the mountains and the sea. The beach and central Wollongong are only a short free shuttle bus away, or 5-10 minutes drive. The Wollongong Botanical Gardens are across the road and is a lovely place for a lunchtime walk.

UOW supports staff to achieve a healthy work/life balance through a range of initiatives including flexible work arrangements, 4 weeks annual leave a year, 15 personal leave days (which includes personal sick leave and careers leave) plus additional leave over the Christmas/New Year break.

Each of UOW's campuses are located within easy reach of food and retail services.

UOW's main campus has a range of facilities including numerous food (and coffee) optionspost office, retail shops, banks, travel agent, hair salon, IGA supermarket, movie screenings and our library.

We promote a healthy lifestyle with the Recreation and Aquatic Centre (URAC), physiotherapist, doctors and dentist on campus.

Campuses are active with events including exhibitions, plays, live music and fortnightly markets.
