Equity, diversity and inclusion
UOW supports the development of a diverse and skilled workforce with special programs available for equity groups and help distinguish UOW as an employer of choice by maintaining a range of work/life initiatives for all staff. UOW strives to develop and implement fair workplace programs and policies and promote a campus free of unlawful discrimination and harassment within the context of national and state anti-discrimination legislation.
We are currently redeveloping a new website which will house useful information about the diversity groups that we support including:
- Gender equality
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
- People with a disability
- People who identify as LGBTIQ+
- Cultural and linguistic diversity
